What information is collected?

Personally Identifiable Information

SnappCloud provides a variety of subscription billing services to service providers and distribution partners. As such, our services may be provided to our partners under their brands and trademarks and on their websites.

Depending on the specific circumstances and services provided by SnappCloud, we may receive personally identifiable information from you directly, or from our distribution partners or product providers, in order to fulfill specific subscription services as requested by you.

Personally identifiable information means any information that may be used to identify an individual including, but not limited to, your name, email address, mailing address, phone number and billing information. We do not share, sell, rent or trade personally identifiable information with third parties for their promotional purposes without your consent.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We may also collect non-personally identifiable information, including technical information (e.g., your browser type, PC operating system, internet connection speed, hardware model) and individual user preferences and history (e.g., data on web pages visited, time spent on each page), in order to provide a superior customized experience for users returning to the SnappCloud Website. Non-personally identifiable information may be combined with personally-identifiable information in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services.

Non-personally identifiable information, including technical information is generally collected through the use of cookies, which allow SnappCloud to recognize return users. Cookies are text files we place in your computer's browser to store your preferences. We use cookies to understand site usage and to improve the content and offerings on our site. For example, we may use cookies to personalize your experience at our web pages or to facilitate the checkout process. If you choose to change your browser preferences to disable cookies, you will still be able to make a purchase, but you will have to re-enter your purchasing information each time you return to make a purchase.

Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)

We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers' personally identifiable information.
